Satay Heritage (Satay Warisan)

Satay or known as meat on stick are well known as famous cuisine by Malaysian, whether you are Malay, Chinese or Indian. What i love about satay it's tasty, fun to eat because dip in the homemade peanut sauce and also eat with raw onion, cucumber or rice cake known as nasi impit in Malay.

You may find in many states of Malaysia but in the Muar town, they consume during breakfast while other during evening as lunch or dinner. My next favourite location will be at the Satay Warisan restaurant located in Jalan Majidi, Muar, Johore. Price only 60 cents per stick, Satay Warisan served the best satay, provide fast service and friendly to the customers.

Another most favourite cuisine in the Satay Warisan will be the Mee Rebus. Most famous Muar town cuisine due to it's tasty thick gravy served with boiled egg, raw bean sprouts, sliced coriander leaves and fried onion. You can never had enough with just one plate.

It will never be completed if you visit the Satay Warisan without teh tarik or known as a pulled tea. "They" said the reason why it's started because during the old time, there was no ice cubes to cool the drinks so they pulled the tea for few times to cool it down before served to the customer and until today becomes very famous among the Malaysian.
